Terms of Use

1. Definitions
- Service: The Aether OS platform, dashboard, digests, and Ask Aether.
- Customer: The organization in a subscription agreement.
- User: Individuals authorized by the Customer.
- Connected Tools: Slack, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Notion, Jira, etc.
- Operational Signals: Extracted metadata and activity indicators.
- Customer Data: All data provided by or generated on behalf of the Customer.
2. Account Registration & Access
To use Aether OS, a Customer must register an account and designate at least one Administrator. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. Aether OS accounts are for business use only.
3. Subscription & Payment
Aether OS is offered on a subscription basis. Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually. All fees are exclusive of applicable taxes. Customers in Nigeria are responsible for any applicable VAT or withholding tax obligations. Price updates will be provided with 30 days' notice.
4. Permitted Use & Restrictions
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive license for internal business operations. You agree not to reverse engineer the service, use it for surveillance in violation of labor laws, or use it to develop competing products.
5. Connected Tools & OAuth Authorisation
Aether OS connects via OAuth 2.0. We request read-only or minimum necessary permissions. You are responsible for ensuring authority to connect these tools. Revocation can be handled within Aether OS or third-party settings.
6. Data Ownership & Processing
You retain full ownership of Customer Data. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your data. By using Aether OS, you grant Aether AI a limited licence to process your Customer Data solely for the purpose of providing the Service. Aether AI acts as a data processor with respect to personal data of your employees and Connected Individuals. Our AI processing is conducted under a strict no-training-on-customer-data policy — your operational signals are never used to improve AI models.
7. Confidentiality
Each party agrees to keep confidential the other party's non-public information. We treat your Customer Data as strictly confidential.
8. Intellectual Property
Aether OS, its software, algorithms, and design are exclusive property of Aether AI. These terms do not transfer any intellectual property rights to you.
9. Service Availability & Support
We aim for 24/7 availability. Support tiers range from standard email support to priority support and dedicated success management depending on your plan.
10. Limitation of Liability
Our liability is limited to the total fees paid by you in the three months preceding a claim, to the maximum extent permitted by Nigerian law.
11. Warranties & Disclaimers
The Service is provided 'as is'. Accuracy of intelligence depends on data available in Connected Tools. Operational intelligence supports, but does not replace, human judgment.
12. Term & Termination
Terms remain in effect during your subscription. Organizational data is retained for 30 days post-termination to allow export before permanent deletion.
13. Governing Law & Disputes
Governed by the laws of Nigeria. Disputes are subject to arbitration in Lagos, Nigeria under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act.
14. Changes to These Terms
Material changes will be communicated via email at least 14 days before taking effect.
15. General Provisions
Includes standard clauses on entire agreement, severability, waiver, and assignment.
